My goal to obtain my Lebron tickets

Ever since the schedule has been released I have been hunting on StubHub for my perfect seats to the basketball game of my life! They aren't court-side but they get me close to Lebron, my overall goal is to scream loud enough to get his attention while he is on the bench, and after the game I hope I can get his autograph down in the loading docks. Anyways, I have been collecting change, cans, etc to save up money. Shay and I are saving up to go to 3 games, we want to see Lebron, John Wall, and Kyrie. I came up with the idea of adding a paypal button to our blog as I have donated to other bloggers in the past when they were obtaining similar goals so I thought this was worth a shot. From basketball fan to basketball fan, we all know how amazing the NBA live experience is, and seeing your favorite players from the nosebleeds just doesn't cut it. So with that anyone who would like to donate please feel free and I thank any one in advance helping make our dream come true!

Tour de USA

Well France, thanks for the extra practice I guess. I don't how much else to sum up that win other than that. I mean when Lebron only needs to hit 9 points and the USA team still wins by what almost 30 points? I would call that a good game. Our game leader was none other than Kevin Durant with 22 points. Lebron of course had 8 assists which is running a drill for him. :) Anyways, while this was a W in our books we have to clean u our game to finish out the Olympics. I mean I don't know if the guys just think this should be a cake walk so they are making small and silly mistakes, I think cockiness is causing these small slip-ups but we have to tighten a few things as we continue on, 14 turnovers and 26 fouls? Get it together guys, these turn-overs can be fatal against Spain or even Argentina. So Coach K did what he had to to, he played Durant, Bryant, and James as long as he needed to get a decent lead, by the fourth quarter they were able to sit out most of it. Anthony Davis was able to get out and how funny is it that the reserve players were the ones serving dunk after dunk in the fourth. It just shows that unlike other countries we have a deep bench, probably the deepest. Anyways, other people are gonna critique the US's "weaknesses" from this game but we all know what our boys are capable of. Let us evaluate this seriously, some of our actual starters would actually be considered reserves had Dwayne Wade, Bosh, and Howard been able to play. So honestly we don't even have all of our all-stars at this point. And again i will say James Harden, GTFO.

Maybe Lebron needs to take another hiatus from social networking, that seemed to help him a lot this last season when the pressure was on. Some one give him a copy of the hunger games stat!

Anyways- Lastly on this short blog. I would like to say that the Stephen A Smith "dis-respectful" auto-tune video not only needs to apply Lebron James but it should pertain to all our US boys, these other countries are being all cocky because all their all-stars play here in our country in the NBA anyways. Ugh I don't need to get on another Pau Gasol rant. But do what we gotta do as fans and let's keep our boys focused! MAybe we should tweet Lebron to pause for a minute? <3

Jeremy Lin, Team USA, NFL, and Stephen A

As most people know, we are not huge fans of Jeremy Lin. The kid has a huge heart and determination for the game but I don't think he is as skilled as he is made up to be and this is why. When Jeremy Lin has wide open shots he can sink a good pull down jump shot. In order to achieve this he needs to be paired with a Center who can run the pick-and-roll. You aren't always gonna have your team able to open the space for you. His shots under pressure are sloppy this has a lot to do with the fact that he is only 23 and just started playing in his professional career. Tyson Chandler was a great center for him to be with, well he is a great center period. In Houston, Lin is paired with Omer Asik as his center and he just can't roll with the pick and roll plays as good as Chandler, so for Lin to be successful he really has to work on his defense, because as they say the best offense is a good defense, or is the other way around? Hahaha :) Anyways, I believe Houston is really gonna have Lin running some drills where he's gonna have to do a lot of no-look passes, attacking in the paint, and taking those pressure jump-shots. Ideally, let the kid run with Lebron for a few weeks and he will be impeccable. In all honesty I think Lin can make a decent career with himself and his talent but he has to work hard, even those who are drunk with Linsanity have to admit that he does not have a well rounded game, yet. I really hope Houston works with him and shapes his well, that's what he needs right now. It's a shame he couldn't stay in New York with Carmelo who truly wishes Lin the best and I think 'Melo wanted Lin to stay in New York, but I wish the kid the best in Houston. I know alot of people are thinking he is going to be the second coming of Yao Ming, but you can't do that to Lin, it's not fair and you can't compare a Center to a Point Guard, they've got different skills and different duties. Let Lin be Lin, not Ming.

Moving on- Our USA Men's team is pumped and ready to take on France this Sunday! The game is 2:30 pm London time which I am pretty sure is 930 AM/ET here in the US of A. They don't seem to have a very tough schedule, they open up against France, then play Tunisia, Nigeria, Lithuania, and Argentina. All I hope is that these boys don't get too cocky, this is not the time for LOB city and Wind-mill dunks, this is the time to play smart basketball so they don't get hurt like Blake Griffin. And can I just say I am sad that our(Miami) Big 3 couldn't be apart of this, I mean who doesn't miss Bosh? He is such a beast and he's a little cray cray and sometimes he makes the funniest faces but who doesn't love him?! I miss him, I sometimes need to know he is there posted in the paint looking like a dinosaur on the prowl! Westbrook is holding his own but Harden ain't ish and honestly in the opening ceremonies the dude looked like a terrorist, I mean the dude can at least smile and look happy once in a while. I know you were all thinking it, I just said it plus he is not holding his own. What a shame Bosh and Wade couldn't be here. I guess there is always another 4 years, ugh I think we all know Wade might not be at the level anymore when that time comes. :/ But here is to Lebron winning all the MVP's, his 'ship, and a gold medal. Holla!

Awe look at that, the Olympics are bringing everyone together<3 good job boys!

                     The Bosh I miss!

Alright- that's all the basketball talk, now let's move onto football. Did anyone else hear Mark Sanchez get called Tim today? haha talk about a diss, I bet Skip Bayless got excited, jerk. Anyways- what a blow to his ego, I am sorry but I didn't buy into the Tim Tebow craze either. The dude just is not that good, yes he demonstrates good Christian faith and is all around a good guy, so far, but his skills are lackin. Looking at his stats from last year I feel like the dude couldn't hold onto the ball, a little Romo in his blood maybe? I kid I kid, but between the two of them I honestly don't know who I would prefer.Shay says Sanchez is better but he prefers Tim Tebow....lol never said we agree on everything :). Anyways, this is the year of the Quarterback, there is more scrutiny against the QB's this year than any other position, from Tebow to Sanchez to the Manning's, everyone's talents are being questioned and broken down. The one position I think is gonna be huge this year is the WR, there's alot of fresh blood filling positions and i really REALLY hope Ochocinco, now Chad Johnson again, can make a comeback, right now he is all I have since Owens is out. I still and always will have a soft spot for Owens, some of his records still go un-broken and I'm gonna leave it at that.  Calvin Johnson I think is arguably possibly the best WR in the league at this moment, Megatron gets it done on the field, he is hot with the ball in his hands, quick feet and he's thick, good combo. And Larry Fitz is pretty dang good too, looking forward to seeing these guys do the damn thing this season.

Lastly, I would just like to say how much I love Stephen A Smith. This man is my sports twin, I vibe with him on every opinion he has and he has had Lebrons back from day one, offering constructive criticism, unlike Skip "Say Less" Bayless, and he is hilarious. If you guys haven't yet check him and Skip Bayless out going head to head every weekday morning on this weeks hottest topics in sports on ESPN First Take. Below I have compiled some of my favorite Stephen A Smith expressions and hopefully can make a believe out of you too!

Pau right in the kisser and hello pigskin

Alright, let me get this straight. Pau- You live in America, play professional ball here, get paid millions and then you go "home" to Spain and talk smack about our US team and how your Spain is gonna shut us down? Well that obviously happened in the 100-78 victory where the USA spanked Spain. Here's a thought Gasol, stay in Spain and play D-league "pro" ball for them K? Don't come back here you good for nothing anyways. Lebron gave you a taste of 'Merica <3 Open ceremonies start tomorrow for the Olympics and once the Olympics are over, basketball will be too, only for a few months, thank God.

A few more updates since we last updated this thing: Lin has gone to Houston, good move? Maybe, they really wanted him and I believe he will get the direction and attention he needs, I still think he is a one hit wonder. People his stats are based on the like, half-season he played. If you divided his PPG by all the games in the season his numbers would be far lower, We are not falling into Linsanity. Maybe we will eat our words but right now we doubt it.

Ok Dwight Howard- I have no more to say. Even if he doesn't go to the Lakers I doubt i will be a fan for a long time.  I am so sick of hearing his name, he has screwed a good deal in Brooklyn and he will look back and realize it. Why is it people are so dumb and dead set on an idea that they don't realize they screwed themselves until it's too late.  I am sick of people like this and Dwight Howard that includes you.

Ok so football time: I don't know about you guys but I am really looking forward to seeing Calvin Johnson this season, I think he is part of the ONE of the best, not THE best, WR/QB duo this upcoming season. This season of football is gonna be full of a lot of surprises, there is talk that Manning can take the Broncos to the Super Bowl,. To be honest I can't really say anything on any of this at the moment because I have been so wrapped up in basketball and Shay is farming 24 friggin 7 so we will have to come back with another football blog. But we are excited for this season, I am more stoked for college ball though, SEC gonna dominate once again.. I am pullin for my Arkansas boys to make it to another bowl and hey if Tyler Wilson wins the Heisman how cool would that be? I'd like to see someone keep LSU out of a 'ship this year tho!

Howard and Girffin? Kobe vs Kyire? I got 5 on it!

First of all I wanna start this blog off with saying that I have been without internet for a week now and I have been itching to update this thing with all the things that have gone on and I am sure you all know about it but here it is and here is our opinion on it.

Team USA straight representing by blowing out the Dominican Republic 113-59 and Kevin Durant got his little MVP with 24 points and 20 rebounds, lol. But really congrats to these guys I like everyone of them, except Kobe...I just can't. Anyways Lebron is rotating out when he is needed and in a recent interview Lebron said he doesn't care if he starts, he will come off the bench when needed it he needs to, yet he is the most selfish narcissistic player, just people getting Kobe and Lebron all confused again. Kobe by the way said he thinks this years Olympic team could beat the Dream Team, I am so sick and tired of the new basketball era versus the old era. There will never be another Jordan or Lebron they are both stellar and ONE OF A KIND! I agree with Barkley who said only three players on this Olympic team could play on the Dream Team, obviously talking about Durant, Bryant, and James. Shay wants to add that the comparison is getting ridiculous, the two teams are very very different teams with players that are nothing alike(preach boo boo) and it will never happen so why make a big deal out of it. With that, let's stop comparing and focus on THIS team bringing us home a gold medal.

Blake Giffin's knee injury is causing a stupid up-roar in the league raising the question that maybe our superstars shouldn't compete in the Olympics, uh so who are we gonna send? Our bench warmers? Players like Walton? UH! It is their choice to play and I say let them play, goodness they know what the risks are and sometimes our boys get too cocky on that court dominating other countries in our best sport known as basketball(that was Amber not Shay) so if they did less show-boating and shot from the perimeter then we would still see domination and less injury. If this becomes a real issue then post-season depression has some of us so far gone that we have to worry about things like this. Stepping up to the plate, raising the brow is Anthony Davis! Represent, this year could not get better for me in basketball, oh yes it could them bringing that gold medal! Kentucky winning the Championship, Davis and Kidd-Gilchrist getting drafted number 1 and 2, Lebron winning league MVP, his ring, and finals MVP, the flood gates have opened and the salty haters have been quenched, so suck it :)

Ok to the juicy stuff, Dwight Howard is actually becoming a villian pissing off Orlando, yes some people may think the Lebron decision was soo evil but they obviously know nothing about and if they wanna see BS follow this Dwight Howard drama. Yes I like Howard as player but the Nets were right about losing hope of signing him and continuing to sign Lopes on a 4 year worth 60 million, say what?? Dude is coming off of injuries and averaged 19.2 points last season, ehh... the Nets had to do what they had to do cuz Dwight is just being dumb right now and being disrespectful to the city he still plays for, don't think Lebron ever did that but i digress. So now the Rockets and Lakers are foaming at the mouth, yes to you Laker fans Howard going there might make you see "Championship" but let's be real, all you Kobe fans out there need ot face facts, dude is good but he is a ball-hog and not a team player. So you have a guy in Nash who is used to being passed to and passing the ball, then you have Kobe who wouldn't know how to pass if his life depended on it, THEN if you add Howard to that?! This would be worse than the falling out of Terrell Owens and McNabb, I mean talk about a ticking time bomb. Howard we all know can't keep his opinions to himself and he likes to be the star..bad idea to me but we will see what happens.

Now this Kobe vs Kyrie thing has got me ROLLIN! All theses young guns want their shot at Bryant and I know someday they will be coming after Lebron but right now I love this "lets get Kobe attitude". So the deal is 50,000 donated to the charity of the winners choosing by the loser. In the video we watched they seemed to go back and forth and be playful with it but I know Kyrie is out to prove a point and we are Team Kyrie all the way. Shay wants to add that he loves when Kyrie says "what are you going to do kobe you know i can get past you your going to have to play defense" hahahaha, and what foundation is Kobe gonna choose? Probably the Kobe/Vanessa Family foundation, haha I had to I had to. Shay says Kyrie can take Kobe and Kobe is kidding himself if he thinks that he can beat Kyrie Irving. Anyways we will keep you posted on the developments on this, and we will be watching it too!

ok i am closing with this, a virtual slap to Skip Bayless, aww yea

How many teams does it take to get to the Center?

Well Dwight Howard, you have done it. This is the most complex trade I have seen, like ever. Below you will see the fuckery as to which I am speaking. These Nets want Howard and they want him BAD. In my opinion if this goes through it's a win-win situation, a bit much but still a win-win. It is no secret the Nets want to get rid of Humphries, I mean who wouldn't? I think he peaked at Kim Kardashian and I will just leave it at that. The Clippers in the deal are just recycling out at this point, they've got a stacked team now so whatever else they can tie up is just a bonus, I am obviously pulling for them to dominate the Lakers this next season. Anyways the rest of this looks good to me, just a bit complicated and Howard should just go through with it and F-LA hahah :)

Moving on- Marcus Camby, he is a New York Knick again and I think he is pretty pleased about this. He got a three year 13.2 Million dollar contract with the last year not guaranteed, how more deals should be!! Anyways to the Rockets they obtained Toney Douglas, Josh Harrellson, Jerome Jordan accompanied by 2nd round draft picks in 2014 and 2015. Shay seems to think that at 38 he is too old to help much and I agree, I see him being a good contributor but as a 6th man relieving players, but good for him. He is going to his "home"

In other news, our beloved Lebron James has been doing spectacular in practices and conditioning for the Olympics, despite injury rumors the other day he is totally fine :) There was also some specualtion that he dissed Derrick Rose but what happend is some reporter wanted a cheap story and mis-quoted him. He was asked what he felt the team was missing with Howard, Rose and Wade being injured and being the leader he is Lebron answered that there was nothing the roster was missing, of course when the story released it was just showing that the asked him about Rose and Rose alone. Those true fans of Lebron know that he is a leader and a team player and he shows everyone respect. Derrick Rose seems to think that Lebron is a joke and he has been condescending towards Lebron, and now people are just feeding into it. *ahem*Skip Bayless*ahem* BUT rest assured James Nation according to his twitter and interviews he is getting along fine and getting the guys and himself ready to bring home a gold medal!!!

Welcome #20?

Well, i just wrote in my last blog how I felt Allen was going to stay with the Celtics but it is official, there must be something in the water in Miami because #20 Ray Allen is joining our wolf pack. So as a current Heat fan how do I feel about this? Hmm... I literally cheered my heart out against this man for two years in a row when my Lebron James went up against him and beat him twice in playoff rounds. So to go from cheering against someone to cheering for them is not so easy, at least for me.

On the positive side here is another loaded gun to our arsenal. The Lakers may have gotten Nash but I think Allen will be more valuable to us then Nash will be to them. This will be an interesting season next year, I am anxious to see how rotations will go now. Shay and I are both hoping that Mike Miller will sit the hell down and that Chalmers and Battier will still get rotated out as often if not more than they did this season.

To me this further secures our spot as top dog in the East and maybe a repeat of our NBA Championship, so humbly I say, Welcome Ray Allen you have joined a winning team with the best guys in the league both on and off the court.

Look Who Is Back

Alright from the very beginning I knew Brandon Roy's "retirement" was BS. Let's be honest, he wanted out of Portland without having a "Lebron stigma" on his name. He just realized the Blazers weren't going anywhere, sorry fans but talk to me in like 5 years when your team gets some decent picks and knows how to use them, my opinion only so, moving on. He is back people, and he is going to the Timberwolves, why? I would think a hefty 10.5 Million dollar contract has a lot to do with that BUT there is a catch, this is a two year deal however the second year is not guaranteed meaning he will have to play for his money and show that it was really Portland that sucked and not him to receive the other year. It's ironic since the Timberwovles originally drafted him so Ptown sorry to disappoint he was not one of your glorious picks you got him in a trade, thank you Minnesota. This is how 90% of deals should go people, most of the players in the NBA need to play like their money literally depends on it. If you ain't James, Rose, or Durant, or players of their caliber than you can get out of here with your 2 years 12 million dollar contracts, nope I think more deals need to be laid out like the Timberwolves did with Roy and maybe we wouldn't hear these players bitchin and the Comish would lose a little power because the salary, renewals, etc would be on the line and in the hands of the players to play like their rent is due.

Oh and Portland, you can say bye-bye to another one, Batum is joining Roy with the Timberwolves and you know what I say Kudos to him, Batum was one of the players I liked and I really think him and Roy can do some damage, I am pulling for Batum more though, all my personal bias.

Now Houston is just creating some Maury type drama on this one. I am sure 70% of you are not very familiar with Courtney Lee, heck to be honest I am not to keen on him either. Anyways, they make an offer on him, PULL their offer moving his free agency from restricted to unrestricted and then turn around and offer him 32 million, while this is all rumor as of right now I can't help but think WTF is going on in their main office? They are trying to dip their hands in so many cookie jars they will go broke before they pull together an actual team. Looks like Jeremy Lin will be staying with the Knicks and while he is costing them a lot of money 28.8 million to be exact, they believe that he will make them more, it must be nice to live in LaLa Land. No offense so the man but Spike Lee is a little crazy and if he is in the ears of New York then all this fuckery makes sense.

Moving back to some West Coast news, the Clippers have snagged Jamal Crawford and Chauncey Billups, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Billups but I think he is someone who should just retire, he has made a good run.

Oh Dwight Howard being deemed now as the Dwightmare, rocking the boat. the Nets still are holding some hope of landing him and we all know the Lakers are sniffing around but all they have to offer is Bynum and they really hurt their chances of getting Howard when they dished out SO much for Nash. We all know Howard, if you won't name his price he won't go to you and honestly what could be going through his head? Does anyone really think he is going to look at LA with Nash and think, "Oh THAT will work"? hmm no. I believe he is keeping the Lakers in mind but he is just too ball-dominant to play well with Kobe and we all know that. Some say the Nash deal will lure him to LA others say it will keep him away, I say with or without Nash, Howard and Bryant on one team would be ego self-destruction. He might hold out until December which is when players who are listed as free agents can be included in deals until and after then.

Ok i am going on and on because so much keeps happening, here is the important issue: Ray Allen met with the Heat yesterday and left without making a deal....yet. Sources close to Allen have said that he is having a hard time with the thought of leaving Boston, which in understandable because he is a star up there and anywhere else he goes he's gonna be more of a background dancer to the main performers and he won't make as much money. Honestly, I think for what he is looking for he is better staying in Boston. He has his ring, with numerous accomplishments I could list for days, why would he want to leave the spotlight for a bench just to get another ring.

Well I am leaving you with this beautiful thought, I know where James will be next year so I can just sit back and watch all this unfold.

The year of the trades

The first thing that came to my mind when I heard Nash was going to the Lakers was "Thank God it's not Howard!" I will not wear a purple and gold jersey, not even for Lebron but especially not for Howard. Moving on, Did you guys see what the Lakers gave the Suns for Nash? A bit extensive I think for a PG nearing his 40's, 2 first round-draft picks for 2013 and 2015, two second-round draft picks in 2013-2015, AND a trade exception from when the Lakers traded Odom. Talk about overkill, I am sorry but I can not be the only one who thinks that this was like paying for a steak dinner and receiving a Big Mac right? Well I know I am not the only one as the only reaction Shay had was an exasperated laugh, and now there are talks about this making the Lakers title worthy for next year? Please. Nash was considering the Knicks for a while but ended up with the Lakers, the Knicks were disappointed as they were wanting a good mentor for their "up and coming star" Jeremy Lin, don't even get me started on that stupid statement. The Rockets think they can turn him into a Yao Ming, good luck guys let the world know how that works out if he goes.

Moving on, today is the day Ray Allen meets with the Heat...great. I know a lot of you are excited about this and strictly from a basketball point of view, yes this would be a great addition but I can't seem to get passed my personal bias. Especially since I think that some of our actual up and coming stars are gonna lose some good game time. There is also the chance he is going to go to the Clippers as he also has a meeting set-up with them. Here is the thing, Boston is offering him the most money and he would have a bigger part if he stayed, if you were Allen would go to Miami for less money and a less active role? Maybe if he wants another ring and is willing to rotate out as a 6th man and let the Big 3 run the show. With the Celtics now making deals with Avery Bradley and Jason Terry this could drive Allen out of Boston even with their 12 Million Dollar offer. A decision from Allen is anticipated by then end of the weekend.

Now, there is no surprise that there is drama with the Dwight Howard free agency, so much in fact that the poor old Nets have given up on hopes of bringing him in. Trading for Howard would mean losing 4 decent players for not a lot of depth to make up for what they would lose. The poor Nets are also trying to find someone who will take on poor old Kris Humphries, the plot thickens. Honestly I love Howard but the price is too high for the Nets to take him and let's be honest, Dwight is just fishing around right now and playing with some emotions, he knows his worth and he will make sure he gets it. He won't play second-fiddle to anyone and he wants to be the hottest commodity in the city, I mean after having a hand in getting Van Gundy fired, he loves having that kind of power.

Anyways, this is all the time I wanna take on this issue right now. Maybe by the end of the day we will have more to say, depends on what outrageous thing ESPN will have to say today.

Free Agency Begins

Just as the draft winds down, the flood gates open for free agents. And in my opinion the hottest commodities are Ray Allen who is rumored to be going to the Heat and Dwight Howard who I last heard requested to go to the Nets.

First of all, as a huge Lebron fan and subsequently a heat fan I am not thrilled of the joining of Ray Allen to the squad, he obviously won't be a starter but I like the guys on our bench minus Turiaf or as Shay calls him, Turd-iaf. So I would hate to see these good guys on our bench lose playing time with the addition of Allen but it could be just the fact that I don't like Ray Allen, at all. He might be able to sink 3's but it would be so hard to cheer for him after rooting so hard against him. Shay thinks he will get paid to sit on the bench and just be used when the boys we have used this season need a break. If Battier continues being consistent with his shooting, then Allen will have some competition for playing time with him. Shay also thinks he could take Millers place altogether, and with his recent back trouble he should literally watch his back. Vent done, MOVING ON- Howard is probably the most popular name post-draft. We have known for a long time he wanted out of Orlando he wouldn't be the Dwight Howard we know and love if he kept quiet. Nope, he syays what is on his mind and he will get his way one way or the other, reference to Peace out Van Gundy. The most recent sources say he would like to go to the Brooklyn Nets(that's gonna take some getting used to). Now with the nets just drafting TyShawn Taylor (in my opinion the most under-estimated draft pick) adding a power house Center like Howard would be a good start to an offensive/defensive arsenal. But what about Deron Williams? Hmm, he is someone I am not sure of, he told sources he would have a decision by Sunday, possibly waiting to see who comes at him and what happens with Howard.

This is the part of basketball that just turns into an inter-twining web of back and forth, honestly how did we get along without the constant updates from ESPN and the players themselves on Twitter? I'm gonna be like a stockbroker being glued to my phone on the stock market, thank goodness school is out for summer and double thank goodness I don't have to worry about where Lebron will be taking his talents to, please no more decisions like that for a while boo boo.

Ok I think I have gotten all the NBA talk out of my system for today, I wonder what notifications I will wake up to tomorrow.

Draft Hype 2012

With the 2012 NBA draft winding down, We hope we are not the only ones shocked by the first round. With all the anticipation leading up to this years draft because of all the high caliber players, there was also that excitement of a new beginning in the NBA, a lot of these young men are going to be future Lebron's, Kobe's, and I even heard mention of a Jordan.

Amongst all the talented men that went there was one and has been one that always stuck out to me, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, I watched him all season long knowing he would be big someday and towards the end of their regular season he had mentioned satying with Kentucky, but having the honor of working under The Michael Jordan, I think out weighs anything Coach Cap could have offered him with another year in Kentucky.

Now past my fan-girling there a few things that need to be said, first of all for all the trailblazer fans out there you may think you got a good PG but I would have liked to see Lamb go there, but you fans seem confident in these picks, forgive us non-Blazers fans for being skeptical of the franshices ability to draft picks as they passed up two of the greatest players such as Jordan and Druant. ANOTHER mindblowing thing was Cunningham going so early, yes big deal he played at Oregon State, but as a non-school biased basketball fan there were many good picks before him, the fact the Jones III and many others sat in their seats has he got called too early I think wasa shock to everyone, we certainly couldn't believe, Shay and I look at each other with out jaws dropped and eyes wide, bittersweet to us because we feel that it was a surprising pick but a lot of our favorite draftees still sat getting called lower. However there is talks of a trade deal with Dallas that we are looking into. Shay feels it was quite surprising that so many big names from last season went so late. We could break apart these picks but why? they have been done and we don't run these franchises we just would have chosen differently. Now we get to sit back and watch these young talents unfold.

The day after the draft we decided to watch our favorite men pick apart he draft on ESPN's First Take, we are both quite fond of Stephen A Smith and from time to time Skip Bayless can say a decent, smart thing.... once in a while. They only further reinforced our thoughts on this years draft.

We were both happy to see the UCONN, Kentcuky, and Duke boys get up there.
We will be going to the Blazer games when the Cavs, Heat, Wizards, and now Bobcats and Hornets come to Portland to cheer our college faves on and of course our current favorite NBA players, my King James, and Shay's favorites in John Wall and Kyrie Irving.

Next thing to look forward to is the USA Olympic Basketball team, bring home the gold boys!
